Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Melbourne Property Media (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website melbournepropertymedia.com and provides property photography, videography, drone and virtual tour services across Melbourne, Australia.
We are based on Cnr Lygon St & Glenlyon Rd, Brunswick East, Victoria 3057, Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. By using this website or contacting us through it, you agree to this policy.
Effective date: 23 July 2026. Last updated: 23 July 2026.
2. Data We Collect
Quote and contact forms. When you submit an enquiry we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, the property or job location, your proposed shoot date, the intended use of the images, estimated deliverables, job details, and how you heard about us. These submissions are emailed to us and used only to respond to your enquiry and to deliver the services you request.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our mailing list we collect your email address so we can send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Technical and security data. Our web server and security plugin automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the website secure and available and to detect abuse.
Where your data is stored. This website is hosted on servers operated by Hostinger and delivered through the Cloudflare content delivery network. Enquiry emails are stored in our business email account.
Comments. Comments are disabled on this website, so no comment data is collected.
Analytics and advertising. We do not currently run analytics, remarketing or advertising tracking on this website. If that changes, we will update this page before doing so.
3. Embedded Content
Some pages on this site include content embedded from other websites — for example videos hosted by Vimeo and maps provided by Google Maps. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly.
Those providers may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content. We do not control that collection. Please review the privacy policies of Vimeo and Google if you would like to know more.
All photographs and videos published on this site are our own work or work we are licensed to display.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for the following purposes only.
Essential cookies. Our website platform and our caching and security tools set cookies that are needed for pages to load correctly, to serve cached pages quickly, and to protect the site against malicious traffic.
Third party cookies. Embedded Vimeo videos and Google Maps may set their own cookies, as described in section 3.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work, although some embedded content may not display correctly.
5. Who Has Access To Your Data
Enquiries submitted through this website are received and read only by Melbourne Property Media personnel who need the information in order to respond to you and deliver your booking.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Third Party Access to Your Data
We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website and our business. Each has access only to the data needed to perform its function:
- Hostinger — website and email hosting.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and protection against malicious traffic.
- Mailchimp — newsletter delivery, if you have subscribed.
- Vimeo and Google Maps — embedded video and map content.
Overseas disclosure. Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. By submitting information through this website you consent to that transfer. We take reasonable steps to use providers that apply appropriate data protection standards.
7. How Long We Retain Your Data For
Enquiry and booking information is retained for as long as we need it to respond to you, deliver the work, and meet our tax and business record keeping obligations under Australian law (generally seven years).
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server and security logs are kept for a short period, normally no longer than 12 months.
You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep — see section 9.
8. Security Measures
This website is served over an encrypted SSL/HTTPS connection, so information you submit through our forms travels encrypted between your browser and our server.
We run a website firewall and malware scanner to block malicious traffic, keep the website platform and its plugins updated, and restrict administrative access to authorised people only.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
9. Your Data Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information we are not required by law to keep;
- unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
To make a request, email ozzfilmstudio@gmail.com or call +61 420 525 872. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days, and there is no charge for making a request.
Complaints. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Third Party Websites
This website may link to third party websites — for example real estate portals where our images appear, or the social media accounts listed in our footer. Those websites are not operated by us and are governed by their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of any third party website. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit through a link from ours.
11. Release of Your Data for Legal Purposes
At times it may be necessary for us to disclose your personal information where we are required or authorised to do so by Australian law — for example in response to a court order or subpoena, or a lawful request from a regulator or law enforcement agency.
We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent a serious threat to a person’s life, health or safety, or to investigate suspected unlawful activity.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our service providers, or the law. The current version is always published on this page with the date it took effect shown at the top. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of this website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
